Marlborough Rd & Osborne Hill Dr Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem
I am writing again to report that the traffic lights at Marlboro road and Osbornehill drive are once again malfunctioning. This issue was previously reported but has recurred, creating ongoing confusion and posing a significant danger to both drivers and pedestrians.
The recurring nature of this problem makes it even more urgent to address, as it increases the likelihood of accidents. Please investigate this matter thoroughly and implement a lasting solution.

Fairmount St. should have a stop sign at Nursery Street.
Many drivers come down Nursery Street every day in order to get to Beverly via the Kernwood Bridge. I think every logical driver would assume that the stop signs on Nursery (at Fairmount and Appleton) are "all-way stops".
Traffic on Appleton, crossing Nursey, does have a stop sign in both directions. But traffic on Fairmount does not have stop signs in either direction as they cross Nursery.
Yes, it works as it is currently designed, but it's inconsistent, and I see problems in this area all the time, because the two intersections are set up differently.
A more consistent setup of the two intersections as you travel down Nursery Street would make for a safer situation for everyone.

Traders Way Salem MA 01970, United States - City of SalemTraffic signal to turn left from Highland onto Marlboro isn't turning green. Just sat through several light cycles and eventually had to run it, it just stayed red. Traffic is backed up WAY down Highland, this is a huge hazard and needs to be fixed ASAP.

North St @ School St Salem, MA 01970, USA - City of SalemThe default signals after a power outage are that traffic on North Street gets a blinking yellow light, while traffic approaching from School or Orne get a blinking red. This is extremely dangerous if an outage occurs during the daytime when traffic is heavy on North Street as cross traffic has to hope that traffic on North Street is paying attention and will be courteous and let them enter/cross. I would suggest that the default configuration should be a blinking red in all directions, which would allow traffic to operate much more safely and (hopefully somewhat) predictably in a normal 4-stop pattern.

Mason St & North St Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of SalemThe traffic light on the corner of North Street and Mason Street is not cycling through lights. It is stuck on a green arrow on Mason St., a green light northbound on North St., and a red light southbound on North St. It has been like this for at least an hour, possibly longer.

2–12 West Ave Salem MA 01970, United States - City of SalemWhen travelling Southwest from Forest River Park to Lafayette Street on West Avenue, the sensor for the traffic lights at West/Loring/Lafayette is not picking up cyclists trying to go straight to Loring Avenue or turn left onto Lafayette, the sensor is only triggered if there is a car at the intersection. I have observed this many times over the past 6 months, and it is very frustrating trying to navigate that intersection without the help of the lights. I wait on the bicycle markings, if there is somewhere else I should be positioned then please let me know.
