    Whalers lane near 74 whalers…the end cap plate is broken and I a trip hazard. The side walk has several areas of cracks and root lift. This sidewalk has not been Mai Ted in 20 years. The end cap was installed by the city a few years ago, and broke fairly soon after installation

    The tree is positioned in front of 7 Adams St., and has been exhibiting signs that suggest it could pose a danger to the surrounding area, including the powerlines that are at the top of the tree, and warping the sidewalk, making it really easy to slip on.

    Attached are photographs that show the tree’s proximity to the power lines and its current impact on the cement.

    I am concerned that with the onset of winter, the tree could pose a significant risk due to heavy snowfall or storm conditions, which could result in damage to property, power lines, and/or injury to pedestrians.
