City of Salem IYO

What is wrong with this city. The traffic light at the MBTA garage is again broken. It barely turns green for residents leaving the garage which leads to a huge backup. I counted three people making left in reds into incoming rush hour traffic. FIGURE IT OUT!

I have to wait through several cycles for a walk signal and many times do not get one and I either have to walk a different, longer route or jaywalk.

This is a public safety issue! I was almost run over tonight thanks to this obsolete (and now malfunctioning) pedestrian crossing “system”. Even when working as intended, this crossing used lights (flashing green, solid red+yellow) that are no longer taught in drivers ed and should have been retired decades ago. They confuse drivers and should be replaced by an up-to-date walk/don’t walk display.

Can the city post signage letting drivers know how many traffic lanes there are on Highland Ave between the hospitals entrance and Jackson St?

Some drivers assume it's one lane each way (since there are no white striped lines), while other drivers assume it's two lanes since Highland Ave is two lanes south of the hospital. With the increased holiday traffic and school buses, the situation is becoming dangerous. I've witnessed several near-misses in the past few weeks. There will be a bad accident soon if nothing is done.

Walk light across from high school isn't cycling; pedestrian couldn't cross at this intersection.

11 minutes and no movement. Please fix light

I press the crosswalk at the Witch House yet it does not activate for crossing. Waited through two cycles and all of us just took a chance crossing in the dark. Not ideal.
