  • 25 Washington Square N Salem MA 01970, United States - City of Salem
Cross walk sign missing from the top of Williams St. Going over to the Common, please replace with one with springs that bounces back after someone hits it.
  • 2-4 Appleton St Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem
Could the dpw put up a yield sign at the end of Appleton st, there has been many near Collisions at this intersection. The intersections are North at Orne and Orne at Appleton. Aftercare coming up Orne stop at the stop sign the technically have the right of way. Cars coming up Appleton should be yielding to cars on Orne. I know insurance companies see it as cars on Orne had the right of way.
  • 45 Linden Street Salem, Massachusetts, 01970 - City of Salem
2 resident parking signs on Linden (near Hersey) are faded and enforcement not being done as a result.
  • 53 West Avenue Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem

Last week ticket number 10391534 was opened, and dismissed. I am now opening it again as a 2nd person making this request. Not sure if first person was clear enough, but almost had a tragedy tonight and that is all I am trying to prevent.

With the basketball tournament going on, and tonight, Swampscott came to play Salem in baseball, people are coming to the park who aren't familiar with the area. They don't know how to get to the parking lot when they see the do not enter sign, and come in anyway. Tonight, there was a little girl on a scooter that was almost hit because she came darting out between cars. Yes, the girl should not have done that, but she wasn't expecting incoming traffic either. The last person put the picture up on the old ticket, I added just TWO example signs (only need one) that can help in this regard.

I am just trying to prevent another Ryan Brennan like tragedy, or the tragedy on Fort Ave earlier this summer. One sign.. thats all that is needed.

  • 136 Canal Street Salem, Massachusetts, 01970 - City of Salem
Remove and replace square anchor post at 136 Canal St.
  • 93 Canal St Salem MA 01970, United States - City of Salem
There should be a better signage for crossing. People are not stopping at the cross walk. Either looking at the phones or ignoring.
  • 67-91 Fort Ave Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem
Dangerous illegal parking in the outbound lane of Fort Ave between entrance to Fort Lee and SESD. Apparently, No Parking signs are needed in that area.
  • 314 Essex Street Salem, Massachusetts, 01970 - City of Salem
Parking meter was removed to change street to resident parking, but pole is still in sidewalk.
  • 14-22 Shillaber St Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem
Is it possible to put a solar powered speed limit sign on Shillaber St. near the Burke St. intersection? It is a narrow street and it is poorly lit. There are individuals driving 40mph plus, with a near head on collision accident occurring very frequently. This is near home owners vehicles between Shillaber and Burke Street and at the very ends of Shillaber St. Also, this makes walking with small children or pets a hazard. Some areas between Shillaber and Burke St. have little to no sidewalks. Making it that more dangerous with the high speeds and poor lighting.
  • 15 Summer Street Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem
Could we please have illuminated "Yield" signs at this rotary? Many drivers need a stronger jolt to break the habit of sailing though the intersection, especially in the evening.
  • Sumner Rd Salem, Massachusetts, 01970 - City of Salem
    No one way sign
  • 7 Pope St Salem MA 01970, United States - City of Salem

Pope St sees wrong way drivers atleast twice a day mostly tourist visiting the memorial.

I have complained before about it, but the city seems to have no regard for the safety of its residents here or the ignorant tourists we deal with on a daily basis. Some updated, visible ONE WAY signs and a speed radar sign would be much appreciated for the speed racers flying down here from Procter.

Only a matter of time before one of the cities precious tourists are injured.
