    I know new ash trees aren't being planted due to the pest threat, so I want to make sure that the one in front of my house is as healthy as possible. Potential issues I'd like to fix are: box and high soil around the roots, plants around the roots, and crowding by invasive Norway Maple trees (which I would consider replacing with a native tree if there's room).

    My driveway has 2 city trees on each side.

    These trees have branches that overhang my roof.

    My request is to prune the trees back so that they no longer overhang my roof.

    The photo is from today, July 30. Both trees were planted by the city about 12 years ago and the one on the right began with greenish leaves this spring but then through the summer has changed color. I have watered both city trees during our heat waves this summer - numerous times. Is it nutrient deficient? If it can be reinvigorated - that would be great. But if it is truly dying then I would greatly appreciate having the tree replaced - hopefully during the fall planting season. Thank you.

    Harbor St needs trees. Our street is so dismal and dirty looking. There are also tree roots that have lifted a section sidewalk near Congress St making it unsafe. It would be good to remove the tree, plant a new one and fix the sidewalk.

    The tree in front of Koto Grill has overgrown and the roots are coming up underneath and popping up the sidewalk. When it rains it the sidewalk now slopes toward the building causing large puddles and water entering the building. The sidewalk is very uneven here and has been the cause of many trip and falls. But, the real issue is the tree roots.
