A bad accident? The light gets stuck for Bridge Street, not allowing people to turn left out of the station. This morning people were running the red, beeping, and even hanging out their windows yelling. At one point the light changed to the walk sign, and then went back to green for Bridge. Fix it.

Signal not working for federal street at north street.
Cars trying to go to bridge street haven’t been able to get the light and impatient drivers trying to cut off the lights at Washington street are honking due to it not being legal for people to run a light to access bridge street.
When will this signal be fixed. It has been not working correctly for a few weeks and also when will a no turn on red be installed. The aggressive drivers trying to race down north street honking to get the drivers accessing bridge st is a quality of life issue for people living nearby and generally u pleasant.

Traffic SignalsÖppna64 Flint St Salem, MA 01970, USA - City of SalemComing down from Flint street from Mason St., crossing Bridge street, there is a brand new signal that now has a left turn arrow. However, when the left turn arrow is green, oncoming traffic going straight or right onto Flint street still has a green light. Plus everyone is just running a red light, which is plausible but unlikely. It is somewhat misleading because even though traffic coming from the Mason street end of Flint street has a green arrow, oncoming traffic does not stop.

Can we please advise MADOT that it needs to be fixed asap.

It barely turns green for residents leaving the garage which leads to a huge backup. I counted three people making left in reds into incoming rush hour traffic. FIGURE IT OUT!
