Sad to see all that money spent and nothing being done. Someone in last administration stated area was being replaced spring 2023. So far this year no roads paved yet only sidewalks on harbor.     Two sink holes have developed in front of 20 Cedar Street after the city removed tree stumps in each front plot of grass and did not use adequate fill. One is approaching 10 inches below the surface of the sidewalk, while the other is closer to 8 inches; each is a danger to pedestrians and people who park their cars there. A call to the Tree Department said that this was a public works issue.

    There are 2 or 3 square cuts made into roadway for some previous work. But the asphalt patches they put in are a good 2 inches below street grade. Not sure if they just did shoddy work filling in the holes, or the asphalt sunk because of poor compaction during the refilling of gravel.
