142 Federal Street Salem, Massachusetts, 01970 - City of SalemThis maple recently dropped one of its last branches. Please remove and plant two large shade trees to either side of the gate. This was the home of Mayor Henry Kemble Oliver whose portrait hangs outside the mayor's office at city hall. The house is additionally significant as an outstanding example of the Federal style as designed by Samuel McIntire. Thank you very much.
