These cross walk signs have been marginally successful in slowing some traffic. They do seem to force more careful turning at this intersection. This shows that traffic calming can work - would be even better if permanent fixes were constructed. -

To whom it may concern.
There needs to be a quite zone sign outside of 403 & 405 Essex Street Salem since people make noise from the hours of 6:00A.M. to 11:00P.M.
Monday - Friday and there are people in the apartment building that are eldery and disabled that live in a private housing apartment building and also there are people in the apartment building that do work for a living where they sleep in the morning and also there are people in the building that would like peace & quite during those hours of the day and night and this has become a problem over the past couple of years and the city hasn't done anything about it so I hope something can happen soon.Thank you

I checked the cross streets and some have no "one-way" signs, there are no "wrong way" signs, and some others are hard to see. I hope the city can come check it out and help. i have several videos of the cars going the wrong way, appears to be accidentally, not intentional

A WOMAN LEAVING MY PARKING LOT TODAY AT LANDRY AND ARCARI RUGS WAS HIT BY A TRUCK WHO JUST CAME OUT ONTO FLINT STREET. THE DRIVER TOLD POLICE IT WAS NOT HIS FAULT SINCE THERE IS NO STOP SIGN ON OAK STREET. THERE HAS BEEN A NUMBER OF ACCIDENTS WITH MY CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES AND DRIVERS EXITING OAK STREET.

14-22 Shillaber St Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of SalemIs it possible to put a solar powered speed limit sign on Shillaber St. near the Burke St. intersection? It is a narrow street and it is poorly lit. There are individuals driving 40mph plus, with a near head on collision accident occurring very frequently. This is near home owners vehicles between Shillaber and Burke Street and at the very ends of Shillaber St. Also, this makes walking with small children or pets a hazard. Some areas between Shillaber and Burke St. have little to no sidewalks. Making it that more dangerous with the high speeds and poor lighting.
