Everett, MA PLUS

Gates open all day and people driving through. This problem comes up over and over again. Looks like DPW was working at some point (since there is dirt and rocks all over the strand - good job cleaning it up by the way) and they have never close the gates. Have been open for at least 3 weeks.

Series of Potholes spans width of street and stretches 70 feet long. A car got stuck in this area yesterday. Cars travelling toward Beacham St have to cross to the dirt on the opposite side of the street to get through.

Water does not drain to the nearest catch basin, due to this area being depressed below the level of the drain cover. Water pools to a depth of 6"+. When the temperature drops below freezing, the ice forms blocks that build up and cause cars to bottom out.

The double yellow lines need to be painted at the beginning of Corey Street [adjacent to Broadway Fire Station]. On more than one occasion, I have seen the street used as a one-way street with cars in both lanes facing Broadway - it is a two way street.

To detour traffic onto a street that isn't even paved is absolutely ridiculous. In any other community, that street would be posted closed with a warning open to residents only pass at your own risk.
But not in Everett let's detour a main street up there.

The condition of this road is not safe. There are multiple giant holes in the road due to construction that you can't see until you are right on top of them. My car literally fell into a hole so bad that the wheel well behind my tire is broken and the car is dented from hitting the pavement. This needs to be addressed urgently before someone gets seriously injured. This road should not be open it is completely unsafe had I known that half the road was missing I would have never gone down there. Terrible

The pothole under the bridge is extremely large and deep. The one before the bridge is smaller but is deep.

Either the utility company is showing its lack of road-paving ability or it is short-changing the city with the amount of asphalt it is laying over its ditches. Ferry St. is now just like Hancock St. was: essentially a parking lot with MANY speed bumps or perhaps I should say depressions.
