    Permit at this address is issued to Emma Kerr trust. This property has changed hands three times ( 3 different owners)since Emma lived there. How can a permit be issued to someone who does not own the house?This just a follow up to the illegal apartment already mentioned in previous post

    There is an illegal rooming house in the back of this salon which houses up to 7 people at a time.

    This salon is unlicensed and there are people living illegally in the back of the salon in an illegal makeshift apartment.

    If you check with the Massachusetts Department of Professional Licensurex, there is no record of this salon.

    It would be good if the city looked further into this as this has been operating illegally for several years.

    There is a residential apartment in the back of this salon on the first floor. Is this zoned for residential or commercial?

    The second floor may also be illegal, in which case this should still be an open issue if you are still investigating it?

    The sidewalk on Lawrence Street in Everett was redone in the summer of 2013. In doing so, the new sidewalk is significantly lower than the original one resulting in a 3 inch gap between the sidewalk and the street on my driveway entrance. Also, the new sidewalk is 1 foot lower than the old sidewalk resulting in a significant drop from the bottom stairs in two locations at the front of my property. I contacted the city last summer and have not yet received any information regarding what will be done to correct this safety concern.
