Fixed this afternoon but only lasted 5-10 minutes before out again. My wife and I enjoy sitting on the porch and watching the wild life go by.

Why are there so many street lights in the Birchcliff neighborhood? The area is brighter at night than Church St. At this corner, for instance, there are two street lights a few feet away from each other - one shining on Cherry and one on Alder. How can we reduce the #, height, brightness of street lights in the area? are all the lights converted to LEDs? Let's save some energy and the night sky!

Why is my street lit up like someone is planning night construction? The light level is ridiculous for this or any other neighborhood. Would love to dim this by about 80%.

there is a plan to put a street light up on the side of our house, in the yard. As it is the street lights in our area are very bright and they illuminate a large area. Our backyard is lit up at night because of the streetlight a few houses down on Richardson. I am dismayed to think that a streetlight on Richardson, in our yard or across from our house will light up our bedroom and our sleeping porch. Is there any way to aim the light down or to put a shade on part of the light so that it won't be so bright and spread so far into yards and houses?
  • 30 Adsit Ct Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric

The new streetlight on Adsit Court is too bright and the color temperature is too high/blue. Blue light during the night has adverse health effects on humans, animals, and plants. See http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/montreal-led-streetlights-1.3940889. Also, the light pollution/trespass into our yards and homes is many times greater than the old light. The light that now shines into my windows through the top of the curtains makes it seem like it's dawn at 2am. It's hard to sleep.

Please replace with a light that's no more than 3000K and add blinders to direct most of the light to the street and sidewalk and not into private homes.

    Thank you!

  • 57 Brierwood Ln Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
The LED (?) streetlight across from my house is far too bright. Also, the streetlight on Balsam street (don't have the pole number) sends blinding, intrusive glare into my backyard. In fact, all the LED streetlights in this neighborhood are far too bright, sending blinding glare far beyond any reasonable, useful distance.

The crosswalk signal button is not working. This lead to a very scary situation that I witnessed when a child was trying to cross North Avenue and a speeding car nearly missed him! Please fix immediately! It would be a perfect spot for an enhanced crosswalk signal that lights up!
