  • 3301 Monroe Street Northeast Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA - McKinley
    Need crosswalk and school zone identification. Children frequently cross here to get to the nearby park, and there is increased traffic around pickup time.

    From culture dr at the intersection of montano, there are 2 lanes dedicated to turning left and 1 lane that is a straight or right turn. I turn left on this intersection frequently, and noticed a lot of people don't realize that the left turn has two lanes. This results in many cars in the left most lane swerving into the right hand lane of cars also turning left. There are no outlines of the turning lanes in the middle of the intersection. This would greatly reduce the danger of this intersection.

    Road was recently repaved. New markings were mostly installed a couple weeks ago. The left lane, westbound, was not re-marked, so only 1/2 of the "School Crossing" marking is completed. The marking currently still reads: "ool ing"

    looks like all white pavement markings at this intersection are really faded but especially when westbound at intersection white turn markers are really bad cant telll whether to turn or go straight.. lot of turists use this area and you can see their confusion.

    The curb markings around the school crosswalk where it meets Barstow and near the Fire Hydrant have become so faded, and are unclear with the absence of signs, that stopping cars here is not permitted. The entire curb should be red so that parents don't park here next to the sidewalk and hydrant to run into the school. Most people know not to, but some don't pay attention and a red curb will help protect the kids.

    Street was repaved and new curbs installed. Yellow markings for fire hydrant were not repainted.
  • Americas Parkway Albuquerque, New Mexico - Uptown
    The tenants of 6501 Americas Parkway need to cross the street to park. The area is dangerous as cars come flying through the area coming from Louisiana. The road is a curve and there are no signs or crosswalks from the buildings across the street. The posted speed limit is 25, however no one follows it. Can a pedestrian sign be installed or a cross walk with a sign?
  • 98th Street & I-40 Off Ramp Albuquerque , NM - Nob Hill
    The last time they repaved 98th street / Arroyo Vista, they never finished restriping at that intersection of the I-40 off ramp. There are no white solid lines to indicate to stop going North or South at that intersection.
