the guardrail is made to absorb collisions but this one was hit very hard and big damage done to it. I'm guessing a big rig slammed into it. there were a bunch of lug nuts laying to the side of the guardrail from the vehicle that hit it. this was probably done a few minutes ago

Fence running along sidewalk has been damaged and there is also trash built up in the area.

It looks like the crash cushion has been hit. There are pieces broken off and it looks like it has been crushed in. There was a big piece broken off but it looks like it was moved out of the lane of travel.

White removable guard rails missing and the cars merging from sheeplane pulling into traffic lane and not the merge lane.

Guardrail color makes it extremely difficult for pedestrian visibility at cross walk. Please consider materials or spacing that increase visibility of oncoming traffic in banked curve. It is a wrongful death suit waiting to happen.

Guarding over bridge is rotten

Adding delineator posts to close off the gore at this merge would decrease the accidents that occur in this area. I travel to SLC from Tooele every weekday and it is guaranteed that an impatient driver will cut the gore directly into the fast lane 9 out of 10 times. Some do as soon as the gore is level enough to travel. Then they speed up so that the drivers that are merging properly have no where to go.

Cement barricade @ I-15 Northbound merge point. Accident waiting to happen. Need to move cement barrier wall so there is an escape route.
