With a road this busy and a mere inches separating a head on collision at 50 mph the new stripping for the lane shift is absolutely unacceptable. Old lines have not been sufficiently removed and blend with the new temporary lines. Lack of sufficient signage indicating two significant lane shifts are often confused as a lane merge. All one needs to do is sit for just a few minutes and watch all of the break lights and near misses from cars trying to figure out what is merging.

Stiping doesnt go to stop bar. People stop at the transition from concrete to asphalt instead of the stop bar.

On-ramp stripping. For months the crosswalk and lane stripping has been worn completely off.
So it now looks like one lane as you turn onto the on ramp. This backs up SB>EB traffic as they wait NB>EN traffic to turn right.
Instead of each turning into their own respective lanes.

I'mar local truck driver and can no longer just wait for it to be fixed without my trying to help make sure UDOT is truly aware of the issue.

Draper City received the below service request from an anonymous "Concerned Citizen". From the description, the concern appears to be with the eastbound striping on 12300 S. where it transitions from west of State St/Minuteman Dr. through the intersection to the east side of State St./Minuteman Dr. on 12300 S. 12300 S. is a state UDOT owned/maintained road rather than Draper City. Can you please confirm that UDOT is responsible for the striping here?

"UDOT says this is a DRAPER CITY PROBLEM and to contact YOU. The striping going ACROSS THE INTERSECTION needs to be restriped. People are not going STRAIGHT across the intersection (as per the law), and there are several near collisions DAILY because people don't understand which lane they are supposed to be going into. It's 2 lanes going into 3 lanes. You can even see this on the Satellite Image. People in the Left lane are incorrectly going diagonal into the U-Turn around Lane. People in the Right Lane are going into the Center Lane on the other side of the intersection. Please fix this in the next 30 days or I'm going out there with a can of spray marker and doing it myself.. and it will look ******.. and nobody wants to see that. ; ) So please just fix it. Today. No, no scheduling excuses, go get in your trucks and do it. Vroom Vroom, chop chop, let'sa go!"

The striping needs to be redone to allow easier lane changes from Tooele City to the industrial depot.

The lane striping is barely visible at my night. It might be good to redo the striping before winter.

There really needs to be a right hand turn lane to turn onto freedom point way. Anytime someone is turning it holds up all of the cars behind it because there is no turn lane or really shoulder. So everyone has to come to a full stop to wait for the car to turn. This really should have been part of creating this intersection when the light went in.

Lanes shift here for eastbound traffic on Pioneer Crossing. In the mornings the sunlight reflects and the lane shift is hard to see. I keep seeing cars in the right lane not shift with their lane and cutting off cars in the left lane as they head towards a cement divider.

Old markings need blacked out and/or additional visual cues would be useful. At the very least a "Lane Shift Ahead" sign would be useful. And then another sign at the point of the shift.

The road lines in this area are no longer painted at all. East and Westbo

The lines on the road are no longer visible and people have been merging into the wrong lanes. I’ve almost been hit 5 to 6 times now because I live down Minuteman but it’s getting really dangerous, I have been trying to ignore it but it’s really getting out of hand it need to be done quit before accident's start to happen. i am not trying to be that person but i can’t stand it anymore

The southbound entrance ramp to I-215 creates backups for both east and west travelers on 700 North. Both directions hesitate to enter the 2-lane entrance ramp treating it as if it were a single lane on-ramp. The 2 lane entrance ramp's striping is completely worn away creating the confusion.
