    The light is way too short for east and west traffic heading to and from Cyprus High in the morning and afternoon. With so much traffic is needs to be longer. It seems in the last couple weeks the traffic is building up a lot more than before.

    The light going Eastbound on SR-73 is still way to short compared to the other directions. All other lanes have a lot more time on them to allow all cars to make the light. It on average takes me 3-4 lights to finally make the light at 6:00-6:15 in the morning.

    This light allows vehicle divers to travel through the crosswalks even while pedestrians have green lights to cross. Numerous pedestrians have been injured or killed in recent years at this intersection, including one person struck by police just this week. Lives can be saved by reprogramming the lights to stop vehicle turns when the crosswalk lights are activated. Please act promptly and inform the public through the paper or City Counsel.

    I’ve noticed during the past few days that the light will turn red for those traveling north or south on redwood so the folks traveling in either direction on 13400 S can go but the light will immediately turn back to green without letting the 13400 travelers go.

    I know this is under construction currently so there may be limited options. But traffic backs up from Bangeter all the way to 215 and up the 4700S off ramp. Can these light be adjusted to allow more traffic coming from 4700S going west bound for evening rush hour? Will completed construction solve this back up? Or can the left turn lane be lengthened to allow more cars to wait to turn left to avoid the backup?

    There is a light proposed here. It should be installed sooner rather than later. Everday there are more and more "close calls" we need a traffic light there to help pedestrians cross safely and to break up the flow of traffic

    Crosswalk and left turn light issues. I narrowly averted death tonight, again, crossing in the crosswalk at the light of this intersection headed North. The car didn't hit me because I saw it careening for me and took one step backwards. Tonight's incident is not an isolated incident. It happens on average twice a week when I am crossing (with a proper light up crossing signal) at all ours of the day. I live nearby and often walk to the shopping center or around the block. Many times, cars are making left turns on a left turn yield light and are not paying attention to a person in the crosswalk because they are attempting to gun it to get through a tight space in the high speed traffic on 9th East. That's exactly what happened tonight. This is a high pedestrian area. There are many apartment complexes on South Union Ave and many kids crossing that intersection to get to Hillcrest High School. Someone is going to get killed in that crosswalk. Tonight, it was almost me. That car was going 40 to 50 miles an hour to make it through on a yield only light. The city said UDOT is in charge of that light. Please make that light left turn only on green arrow. Then pedestrians will not be in the crosswalk when people are turning left. What happened to me has happened to varying degrees more times than I can recall and I'm sure it has happened to others. Someone is going to get killed in the crosswalk at this intersection by a left turn driver.

    The light for east/west bound traffic takes a very long time to change, even when there is no north/south bound traffic.
