The catch basin is clogged at the end of my driveway when it rains. This has been a problem for more than a decade but seems to have gotten much worse in the past few years. Yesterday's rain flooded the entire circle at the end of Pheasant Run and all the driveways were blocked by a foot or more of water. The only way to leave my property was to drive through the water - not recommended.

When it rains my entire yard floods. I’ve had landscapers come to see what can be done, but they say there’s nothing to be done because my house sits lower than the street and I can’t put a sump pump in the yard because there’s no drain on my side of the street. I’ve lived here since 2020 and have only used the yard a handful of times but not once in 2023 due to all the rainfall we got last year. I would like the town to address this issue since it was not in my purchase agreement that my home was in a flood zone.

I have called on this twice. The first 2 people came out and said they would be back to fix it in the summer because the ground was too wet. The next two came a couple of years later and said they would fix it and never came back. I need this taken care of not quite sure why it hasn't been.

Water from storm drain empties into yard

the brook behind Turbine Support at 344 Rainbow Rd is clogged up somewhere so water has been flooding and causing basement flooding to surrounding homes. this has been an issue for a few years now. Immediate response is a must.

Dry wells plugged by roots - determined two years ago by Town contractor or staff. This has been ongoing problem during heavy rainfall or rapid snow melt for many years. Water is as deep as 12-14 inches in some areas of the cul-de-sac. Town staff is aware of problem and has stated that a project to fix will be initiated.

I understand the construction started next door but this is not okay We have garbage lining upper broad street all the way to the train tracks The dumpers are literally blowing bags worth of litter into my yard daily The smell when they get emptied is bad now and I don't want to know what it's going like when it gets warmer out These need to be moved along side the building so they don’t hit wind and so they don't hit our fence We've already had people back into it this past week and break it trying to back out due to the fenced off area along our fence line for construction

Near the East Granby line, someone has dumped an old gas/charcoal grill on the right hand side of the road as you're heading into Windsor from Rt 20
