    Took a call from a resident whose bike was stolen from a bike rack at 1223 Park St last night. It was one of the single green ones which, according to footage the lady has seen, the thief unbolted from the base. Please can PW ensure this rack is properly secured again and also ensure they are aware this is possible with this model?

    Great that Lucky has a place to park bikes! However, it'll be great if we could replace this with better racks as you can really only secure your bikes securely to the frame on right or left end, or unless you park your bike sideways

    There is parking available on AUSD nearby but it's a school parking lot so it would be inappropriate to use while shopping.

    i wanna say back in 2007. i was using my bicycle on the way home it was a road bike and i hit the ground when my wheel came off from either a saboteur or vandalism. it was parked in front of the library in college of alameda. and if it were a bad guy ive lived in alameda for more than 30 years i had crystal meth problem that was pretty rampid in california and needs to be addressed. also cameras should be pointed at the bike rack and parking lot also use vhs to capture evidence it is important. thank you i will send more feedback but can you please make sure all is okay and the hospitals are working. that is important. choose vegan and stay with church keep our troops in place and by our side. thank you and masala

    This is a park and ride lot, but there is no long-term, secure bike parking here. I would love to see a BikeLink parking option at this location since it would encourage people to ride to the park n ride vs. drive. Since bikes would be left for many hours a day and there isn't a lot of foot traffic to keep thefts low, a secure parking option (vs regular bike rack) would be best.

    Also, it would be great if the BikeLink options could include a few larger spaces for things like larger e-bikes or cargo bikes. Many people may drop off kids and have things attached to their bikes that would need to be accommodated as well.
