Harbor Bay Parkway Alameda, California - Alameda
This request is for Traffic Lane Striping and installation of Lane Reflectors on Harbor Bay Parkway, between Doolittle Drive and Ron Cowan Parkway.
The roadway on this stretch has deteriorated and there are significant stretches here that do not have lane stripes and working lane reflectors. This makes it an extremely dangerous stretch to drive during periods when there is reduced visibility (night time and also during the rain). This is especially true when traveling southbound, in the #1 lane, at the area where there is a slight right curve. Motorists approaching the curve will suddenly be blinded by the disappearance of any roadway markings, a sudden right curve, followed by an unidentified center media island which suddenly and without warning becomes apparent (center island not marked with reflectors as well).
Please improve this stretch of the roadway by striping the traffic lanes and installing lane reflectors.
This request is intended to fulfill the requirements under CA Govt Code 835; Notice to the City of a Dangerous Condition..

Recreation & Parks - Parks MaintenanceAcknowledgedRalph Appezzato Memorial Pkwy Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - AlamedaI BELIEVE THIS SEECLICKFIX WAS CLOSED IN ERROR. IT IS STILL A PROBLEM:Several of the newly planted oak trees on Ralph Appezatto Parkway did not get enough water and have died. They need to be replaced. I hope the contractor who was responsible for watering them replaces them without charging the city. Also, there is always a lot of trash in this linear park. And almost no trash cans.
I love our Alameda parks. This one looks unloved. ☹️ -

Trees (Street Trees)Acknowledged2001 Buena Vista Ave. At Chestnut Alameda, California - Alameda
Dear Sirs/Madam,
At this time, repair work is underway on other portions of my block for damage to the sidewalk from street tree roots. But the extensive damage to the sidewalk in front of my house was overlooked even though the damage is far worse than any of my neighbors. Can you please add the sidewalk in front of 2001 Buena Vista on Chestnut St. to the repair work order to be fixed at the same time as the others. As I mentioned work has already began down the block.
P.S.
My property was also overlooked when driveways on my block were repaired a few years back. My driveway is in desperate need of repair as well. My car bottoms out when I drive over it. Not good. : (
Thank you for your help with these matters.Brandi Faye

Trees (Street Trees)AcknowledgedSan Francisco Bay Trail Alameda CA 94621, United States - AlamedaThis Eucalyptus tree is a short distance from the Harbor Bay side of the blue bike/walk bridge near the old Alameda dump The branches shown cross the bike/walk trail and there are some large branches which hold heavy sections that appear dead or dying Our concern is that they may snap at any time and a walker or biker could be seriously injured There are large branches which have already broken off on the water side of the tree. Can these large branches be removed ?

Trees (Street Trees)AcknowledgedJack London Ave & Mosley Ave Alameda, California, 94501 - AlamedaThere's a dead tree on Mosley just past Jack London Ave (by the play area in Bayport Park). This tree was replaced in Oct '21 after the earlier one was toppled due to the rain. But it looks like the replacement tree isn't doing too well (all the leaves are dead).
