  • 1900-1998 Sherman St Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
Hi, I am in standstill traffic on the intersection of Sherman and Atlantic for 15 min now, and same yesterday, I was almost late to a daycare pickup bc of this. The traffic jam goes all the way to the intersection of Challenger and Marina Village pkwy.
I appreciate the bike-ability charter, but ever since you guys narrowed Atlantic to 1 lane to allow for a bike line this intersection is a constant jam. I counted the bikes passing by and there were exactly 0 (zero) passing by. Same yesterday. This is beyond ridiculous. Hundreds of commuters late because of exactly zero bikes. Can you please do something about the traffic light intervals here?
  • 1725 Webster St Alameda CA 94501, United States - Alameda
Now that the active transportation plan was approved by city council, we are re-requesting that LPI and automatic pedestrian signa (at least at peak hours )lis added back to this light/intersection In particular, crossing Webster on the south side of BV The LPI workscrossing Webster on the North side of BV, so I assume this is an equipment error But in case this was a plan for traffic management please reconsider in context of active transportation plan goals I would also note there was a severe injury at this intersection last year, please help prevent another I plan to follow up this request if not addressed, please feel free to reach out to me hank you ,

555 Stargell Ave Alameda CA 94501, United States - Alameda
The pedestrian recall for crossing Willie Stargell is on, that it comes on every single cycle even when there is no pedestrian to activate the pedestrian phase. This created a significant increase in delay to the northbound right turn movement since it's no turn on red. Delay for other movements are also increased due to the pedestrian phase being activated every cycle even when there's no pedestrian. Please fix ASAP . Thanks.

  • Ralph Appezzato Memorial Pkwy & Webster St Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
There is a sign on the right side of the road saying no right turn on red here. It is small
And much more difficult to see than a sign on the streetlight would be so most people don't notice it.

Doolittle Dr Alameda, CA 94502, USA - Alameda
The traffic signals aren't visible going west/north on Doolittle over the bay farm Bridge until you are right on them due to trees (on right side of the road) obscuring them. A driver does not know if the light has changed until right on top of the lights. Please cut back the trees on the right side so drivers have advanced warning of light changes. Thanks!
