Hello, I'd like to get a tree from the tree planting program. My neighbors have one and I would like one too. If possible, I would like a magnolia which matches a couple on the street (it seems one was recently planted at the residence of an acquaintance of mine). Otherwise, something suitably tall as there are no overhead powerlines.

Additionally, it would be nice to check on my neighbor Donnn'a house at 400 Harbor Light as she has a tree that was planted by the program (you can see it in the background of the photo) that desperately needs to be staked as it is leaning considerably. It has scratched her car as it is leaning into the street. She has mentioned it but she is in her 80s and doesn't know how to use a computer. So if you could come by and stake/straighten her tree, that would be appreciated by everyone.

PD reports tree is blocking crosswalk warning sign on pole #06801, requests pruning

Even though the trees were trimmed last January they have grown tremendously and a few branches are getting very close to the roofline of my house. And there are some dead branches that need to be removed.
My house and my neighbor’s are the only 2 houses on our block with these specific trees. The roots have grown on to my lawn so I can’t get a lawn to grown and one root is starting to raise my driveway and another is lifting the water line coming from the city. Something needs to be done before so serious damage occurs. Thank you so much for further looking into this situation.

The city came to trim trees on 2600 blk of BV some months ago and left quite a few dead branches on the city tree in front of 2626 BV. Fall hazard to street parked cars, please come to re trim and remove dead branches.

Can a tree be planted here?
  • Park Ave Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
Water bags are all empty. Young trees are dry and dying. Also, check sprinklers which look like they’re not working
  • 3264 Washington St Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
The sidewalk uplift from the tree roots has caused rain water to accumulate and create standing puddles on the pedestrian path on this school pathway.
  • San Francisco Bay Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
The prior request was to remove dead branches. Now, many months later, the tree is thriving. Branches are now so overgrown that bicyclists and pedestrians must duck down to avoid getting hit in the head by leaves and branches. Please trim back this lovely tree so that it does not hang over the path.
  • Mitchell Ave Alameda, California, 94501 - Alameda
Cannot see traffic lights at intersection of Mitchell and 5th when traveling east on Mitchell because of combination of overgrown trees and road curving right.
  • Terryton Isle Alameda CA - Alameda
On Terryton Isle between Otis and Rosewood on the left hand side the tree is too low.
  • 200 Pacific Ave Alameda, California, 94501 - Alameda
West coast arborists trimmed today. Last photo is the before. However they did not trim these sucker growths off completely. They left them 8 to 10 inches tall.
