  • Aughinbaugh Way & Sheffield Way Alameda, CA, 94502, USA - Alameda
Motorists constantly fail to yield or will speed through at this crosswalk that is heavily used by children going to and from bay farm school. It is very dangerous and also the only reasonable crossing to use if you live on Sheffield Way. It needs either a stop sign, crossing guard, or flashing pedestrian crossing signs.
  • Chapin St Alameda, California, 94501 - Alameda
Mail correspondence regarding street safety concern on Chapin Street. Reporter believes the issue requires immediate attention.
  • 2267 Lincoln Ave Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
    Three axles on Lincoln
  • 605 Grand St Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda

    Same day.
    Same no parking curb paint
    Same curb cut
    Same clear bike lane marks.
Same empty road full of vacant on street parking

    Different car.

Same blocking the bike lane, apparently intentionally.

Please prioritize curbs and other tools to stop this antisocial behavior by people who choose to drive. During the design of Otis and Grand

  • Buena Vista Ave & Willow St Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
Vehicles frequently park at the red painted curb on Buena Vista at Willow St which reduces visibility for cars crossing the intersection heading north to south on Willow St. This causes vehicles on Willow crossing Buena Vista to enter deep into the intersection to see cars heading towards them and creating a safety hazard. A stop sign on Buena Vista and/or fresh painted red curbs on Buena Vista could help deter illegal parking and avoid potential accidents here.
  • Park Ave & San Jose Ave Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
Please consider adding crosswalks with yellow flashing lights to cross Sam Jose Ave at Park Ave (connecting chochenyo park). This intersection does not feel safe to cross with kids as we enjoy walking through the park
  • 217-217 Aughinbaugh Way Alameda, CA, 94502, USA - Alameda
During school drop offs and pick up vehicles are parking in the bike lanes. Bike lanes are not well marked and hard to identify in this location. Would like to see the bike lanes painted green from Robert Davy to Sea View at least. Current city projects seem to be using the green bike lanes and this helps to identify the bike lanes to prevent people from parking in them.
  • 2985 Northwood Dr Alameda, California, 94501 - Alameda
Cars speeding while children at play. Lots of kids on this particular street and it's a safety concern with many near-misses.
  • 2990 Northwood Dr Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda

In just the last 15 minutes, witnessed at least 3 cars well exceeding the speed limit, putting residents at risk. Namely, this is a safety concern and endangers the lives of the many children who live in the vicinity. There have been many near misses.

Speed bumps would be a good solution to slow down traffic to the legal limits.

  • W Tower Ave & Pan Am Way Alameda, California, 94501 - Alameda
The stop sign at this intersection is too small therefore can easily be missed by vehicles going north. Poor Visability
  • Encinal Ave & Park Ave Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
The crosswalks need to be painted all along Encinal before daylight savings time ends, but especially at Park Ave and Encinal, otherwise it will be very dangerous for pedestrians.
  • Buena Vista Ave & Wood St Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
Buena Vista, unfortunately, has become a high-speed thoroughfare. This intersection needs a safe crosswalk—for kids going to/from school, as well as people walking to Jean Sweeney Park. Many people use Wood/Eagle St to access the park. There are also several families who regularly cross at this intersection for school. Ninth Street/Buena Vista Ave would also be good alternative. Thank you!
