    Wondering if this area with 5 parking spaces can be considered for a "2 hour parking limit" sign. We have lots of van dwellers and homeless who park here for days and use our alley and bushes to do drugs and sleep in, making our club members feel unsafe. We get complaints weekly and ask them to leave our property, but they just retreat to their vehicle until we go back inside and say it's public parking. (Alameda Fitness & Spa-over 1700 local residents come here) We could really use some help! Thanks for considering this. Camille Hammond (GM)

    Could the Public Works Dept. look at putting more 25MPH Street Signs or better yet - Solar Flashing Speed Limit Sign - along Robert Davey Jr. Drive. After Puddingstone - headed Northwest - there aren't any 25MPH signs. I have witnessed people continually speed down this thoroughfare at 35-50 MPH - barely stopping at the 4-way Stop Sign (Robert Davey, Jr. & Puddingstone).

    There used to be signs posted along the Harbor Bay bike path regarding the City ordinance about dogs requiring to be on a leash. The signs were removed or something over the years. Lately more and more people ae running their dogs off leash, and some are chasing anything that moves, geese, ducks, squirrels,...Some of the dogs are totally untrained and pose a threat.
    I have contacted Officer Onesko, Alameda City Animal Control, about this and they may be able to step up patrols. However, It would be great if the City would re-introduce the leash law signs along the bike path, so they know what I am yelling at them about.
