City of Alameda PLUS

I’ve asked about this area before. Thought there was a schedule for weed removal and it would be Memorial Day wknd. Wrong. The path is so choked with weeds in certain parts that there’s only one person either way to pass through. I’ve had to wait until people pass by before continuing. Also, the rodent type squirrels get frightened and decide to run across the path to hide in the weeds. I now, ride very slowly since I’ve seen at least 2 of these squirrels dead. (probably hit by someone riding fast on the path). I want to try to avoid hitting these critters but I also don’t want to fly over my handle bars in doing so. Please cut the weeds, it’s also a fire danger. TY

Bay trail starting at light pole #14607 west of harbor bay parkway, nd heading for 600 feet north needs weeds and dirt mitigation Excessive dirt has covered large amounts of the asphalt and will cause tripping hazard and impeded wheelchair and stroller access

Big eucalyptus needs to be trimmed. Branches are hanging too low over path. Sent request in August but still not done.

Pile of leaves and debris collected Nov. 11 in front of yard, at end of cul-de-sac was not picked up. Residents and visitors park on this public street. The piles of leaves makes it awkard and inconvenient to park and looks bad. Thank you for returning to collect it.

Irrigation head needs repair. Tillman Park between Gazebo and office.

Greenbelt along Main between Stargell and Appezzato...shrubs are mostly dead. NO H2O. Quite sad. :(

Car ran over median and damaged the wrought iron fencing around the donated fountain at High and Encinal. Also fountain needs cleaning and the fence after repairs needs a paint job.

Overgrown weeds on the City sidewalk, lagoon side of the street. Needs maintenance. Thank you.

Sprinkler at Northwest corner of Park Ave grass area is broken

The weeds on the bike/walking path going towards Doolittle (golf course) are over grown and need to be addressed. Every year this path becomes so choked with weeds that it becomes only passable one person at a time. I bike this every morning and I see how it’s already overgrown.
