Why did you remove 8 parking spots from every block but you didn’t even put in crossing lights here which would address the *actual* issues residents have concerns about? What’s the city’s plan for removing massive amounts of parking on the West End? None of this has helped being able to cross safely and has caused more double parking concerns by schools due to the even greater lack of parking.
  • Doolittle Dr Alameda, CA 94502, USA - Alameda
The traffic signals aren't visible going west/north on Doolittle over the bay farm Bridge until you are right on them due to trees (on right side of the road) obscuring them. A driver does not know if the light has changed until right on top of the lights. Please cut back the trees on the right side so drivers have advanced warning of light changes. Thanks!
  • 601 Lincoln Alameda, California - Alameda
The red curb at the bus stop (Line 31) WB at Lincoln and Sixth has faded into oblivion.

  • 599 Taylor Alameda, California - Alameda
Please repaint the red curb by the fire hydrant. Vehicles are parking here on a regular basis. It is right by Saint Barnabas Church, a West End landmark.
  • Harbor Bay Parkway Alameda, California - Alameda

This request is for Traffic Lane Striping and installation of Lane Reflectors on Harbor Bay Parkway, between Doolittle Drive and Ron Cowan Parkway.

The roadway on this stretch has deteriorated and there are significant stretches here that do not have lane stripes and working lane reflectors. This makes it an extremely dangerous stretch to drive during periods when there is reduced visibility (night time and also during the rain). This is especially true when traveling southbound, in the #1 lane, at the area where there is a slight right curve. Motorists approaching the curve will suddenly be blinded by the disappearance of any roadway markings, a sudden right curve, followed by an unidentified center media island which suddenly and without warning becomes apparent (center island not marked with reflectors as well).

Please improve this stretch of the roadway by striping the traffic lanes and installing lane reflectors.

This request is intended to fulfill the requirements under CA Govt Code 835; Notice to the City of a Dangerous Condition..

  • Ralph Appezzato Memorial Pkwy Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
I BELIEVE THIS SEECLICKFIX WAS CLOSED IN ERROR. IT IS STILL A PROBLEM:Several of the newly planted oak trees on Ralph Appezatto Parkway did not get enough water and have died. They need to be replaced. I hope the contractor who was responsible for watering them replaces them without charging the city. Also, there is always a lot of trash in this linear park. And almost no trash cans.
I love our Alameda parks. This one looks unloved. ☹️
  • 2765 Newport Rd Alameda, CA, 94501, USA - Alameda
With the wind and rain, this tree seems to on the verge of falling. Maybe check to see if it’s okay, if it can be propped up or needs other intervention?
  • San Francisco Bay Trail Alameda CA 94621, United States - Alameda
This Eucalyptus tree is a short distance from the Harbor Bay side of the blue bike/walk bridge near the old Alameda dump The branches shown cross the bike/walk trail and there are some large branches which hold heavy sections that appear dead or dying Our concern is that they may snap at any time and a walker or biker could be seriously injured There are large branches which have already broken off on the water side of the tree. Can these large branches be removed ?
