Resident requests some measure to calm traffic on San Jose, between Broadway and Park.

Vehicles fail to yield to pedestrians in crosswalk. I had a near miss happen while crossing - driver was distracted and didn’t stop while I was in crosswalk.

The road lining to turn right from Mitchell Ave to Mariner Square Loop Is extremely dangerous. The right turn lane curves at a 90 degree angle to become parallel as though there is a merging lane for Mitchell Ave onto Mariner Square Loop. But there is not a merging lane. You come to a stop but your car is faced at a 135 degree to 180 degree angle to Mariner Square Loop so you have to turn your body and head to the left at a 135 to 180 degree angle to see if there are oncoming cars. This physically difficult for most people and the side of one's car obstructs part of the view. This road lining makes no logical sense and is an unnecessary hazard that should be changed immediately.

Pedestrian crossing is unsafe at this location. The sign on the Safeway side is missing a bolt on the metal sign itself and is flopping around. Need to add a stop sign in the median for people coming out of Safeway to stop as they tend to gun it and are looking the other way. Once again one of our neighbors was just hit in this crosswalk a few weeks ago and her baby in the stroller was almost killed. She is in bad shape and can barely walk now. This is now the 4th submission on this same interaction, please add lights, a stop sign in the median, anything at all to make this safer.

Resident observes high speeds on 3rd St from Pacific to Ralph Appezzato Memorial Parkway and requests more speed limit signs.

Driver ignored the red "no turn" arrow as I was riding through on a green bike signal. I've seen this happen quite a bit over the last couple of days at both Webster and Atlantic and wonder if the "no right on red" signs should be put back for greater visibility.

People speed down Gibbons Drive at well over the speed limit. It is very dangerous to everyone, and concerning with the number of children who live on the street. I'd like the city to install a speed bump (or several) on Gibbons Drive to discourage speeding.

Unsafe cross walk needs speed bumps and reflective signs as people clearly need a physical object to slow them down as they ignore all street signs and markings

There’s a bad traffic pattern here where people heading east on Mecartney and making a left onto Island don’t want to wait their turn at the four way stop (which is a whole separate issue). So they go straight across Island but make a U turn here in front of Starbucks, then a right onto Island (generally while speeding, because they’re being impatient anyway). There should be some sort of no U turn enforcement because it’s a bad spot with people going into Starbucks and driving west on Mecartney.
