Unsafe crossing. Flashing pedestrian signs needed here as people are constantly speeding to and from the ferry.

Well biking my daughter to an activity this morning. I had to use Buena Vista to cross Park Street due to the lack of any safe bike crossings for Park Street anywhere north of shoreline

A non-commercial truck decided to overtake us about 50 ft past the Park Street intersection on Buena Vista heading east

Passed within a foot and a half of our bicycle while traveling in excess of 30 mph

Truck did this maneuver in order to gain exactly 7 ft prior to the next stop light

This is incredibly unsafe and the lack of bike lanes in this location means there is no effective safe way for non-automobile traffic to cross Park Street

Shoreline Drive, while beautiful, is very dangerous to pull onto from the various apartment complex driveways. As a resident, I have found cars speeding at up to 45mph and obstructions of view on a regular basis. Specifically at 2445 Shoreline, there are parking spaces all the way up to our driveway with no lead/gap for visibility of oncoming traffic. Leaving my home feels very unsafe and like a roll of the dice every time. A moderately sized red zone between 2445 and 2465 and/or speedhumps would greatly help our situation!
With the tragic recent passing of Supervisor Chan just a couple blocks away, I hope this situation can be taken more seriously.

It is dangerous to turn right from Bay onto Lincoln heading east.
One can't see the traffic on Lincoln due to the parked cars. Plus most drivers are speedy at that point to make the light at Sherman.

Cars routinely speed down Lincoln ave between 5th and Webster st. There are no posted speed limted signs. Cars reaching speeds of 60 mph or more is very common , especially late in the evenings.

There is a lot of unsafe driving (speeding) happening on W Atlantic Ave, in particular on the weekends when cars are racing down the street at all hours of day and night. Our family has been nearly hit crossing the street on multiple occassions due the reckless speeding on this road.
Please don't wait until a pedestrian is killed or seriously injured to take action - we need speed bumps installed asap.

Well using the safe route to school to pick up my daughter. I was strolling my infant twins in a stroller

Person who was driving a minivan on Pacific using Pacific as a three street was speeding on Pacific. I gave extra room as I was crossing the road as they looked like they were not safe streets champion

Driver proceeded to blow through the stop sign swerving across walnut to blast onto the next block of Pacific

As this was happening my babies were just sitting there watching next to the slow street sign what we had the legal right away

It is unclear how the neighborhood greenway plan intends to address aggressive driver behavior such as this that endangered infants, children, and adults using the safe route to school to Love elementary

San jose and broadway needs a lit up pedestrian walkway and a 4 way stop sign!! This is a MAJOR crosswalk for many elementary and middle school children and cars blow right past them. I live on Park ave and walk my children to the park at Otis school and cars are always flying past us. Ive almost gotten hit here twice!!! It’s alarming how many others feel the same and the city has done nothing to improve the safety of our citizens, especially school aged children commuting back to school soon. During school year they also need a crossing guard. This is a major intersection that kids on the east end use to get to Otis and Lincoln middle school. This NEEDS to be a priority.

intersection of kofman and Shannon has no signs. many cars do not even look to stop for kids and pedestrians crossing to go to the park, to go to school, etc. are you waiting for an accident or death before something is done?

Another car failing to yield while taking a right from Atlantic onto Constitution. Driver had been prepping for a right on red and started as light changed.

All signals were for pedestrian priority. I was wearing very bright clothes.

Driver looked incredibly embarrassed when they realized.

Signaling needs work badly. Right on red here should not be allowed.
