  • 5800 Southwest 45th Terrace Miami, Florida - US Congressional District FL18
Cars leaving the David Fairchild School drop-off or pick-up are all going South on SW 58th Ave. Many then turn immediately onto West-bound SW 45th Terrace - this block of 45th Ter. has no sidewalks so kids walking to school are forced to walk in the street - cars coming around that corner are cutting close to the edge of the street (going too fast). Without some crosswalk enforcement and re-engineering someone is going to get hit.

  • 82 St And 89 Ave Miami, Florida - Sunset
Drivers going over 50 miles per hour in a residential speed zone and do not Stop at the stop sign. The traffic flow is at high speeds and cars have gone so fast in the area that they have killed cats and other animals. Speed bumps would be a suggestion because drivers are not respecting the Stop sign, speed limit and some Police officers that have parked on the side to witness offenders. The Police officers have done their job, but when they are not there the drivers are zooming by at high speeds and do not STOP in the stop sign. Please help. Today I saw a neighbor’s cat get killed by one of these drivers not respecting the speed zone and tomorrow it might be one of our kids. Thank you for your help in this matter. We do not want this issue to be a bigger tragedy in our neighborhood.

  • 12851 South Calusa Club Drive Miami, Florida - The Crossings

    Hello,
I am a resident of Calusa in Kendall. In the last few years, I have noticed a huge increase in traffic in our neighborhood. The other day, I had to wait five minutes to exit my own driveway because of all the two way traffic. Some of these drivers are obviously dropping their kids off at Calusa Elementary but the majority use our neighborhood roads to exit the congestion on Killian Dr. and SW 137 Ave.

I would like to see speed bumps installed or maybe police ticketing the people who use our neighborhood as a freeway. The streets with the most traffic are North, South, East, and West Calusa Club Dr. with the peak traffic coming in the early morning hours.

    Thank you

  • Us1 And Sw 67th Avenue Miami, Florida - Glenvar Heights
The timing on the light at US1 and SW 67th Avenue is off. I now (in the past week) takes 20 minutes to exit 878 and get to SW 80th Street. The light at 67th Avenue does not stay green long enough and is not timed well with the light at 80 Street.
  • 150 Ne 12th Street Miami, Florida - Edgewater
A large and deep pothole on NE 12th Street between NE 1st Ave and NE 2nd Ave. At about 5:00 on 1/26/16 I was driving down NE 12th Street toward the on ramp to 395 to get to I-95. When I went over the pothole I felt and heard a large bang as my front driver's side tire fell into the pothole. I could immediately tell that the tire was flat and the rim was touching the street. I would like to make a claim for the damage done to my car. Right after I pulled my car to the side of the road to change the tire to a spare, another car (a white Mercedes Benz) drove over the same pothole and had the same thing happen to one of her tires/rims. Like me, she is very upset and wants to make a claim against the city for the damage to her car. I exchanged information with her so that we can contact each other about the process of making a claim. But this pothole has done alot of damage to our cars and who knows how many other cars it has done similar damage to in the past, and will continue to to damage in the future if not fixed. I am uploading a picture of the pothole. I can be contacted at 954-632-0580.
