Crosswalk signal not functioning properlyAcknowledgedPaul Robeson Pl Princeton, NJ, 08542, USA - Princeton
The crosswalk signal at the NE corner of Paul Robeson Place (to cross John St) is difficult to activate. You have to press very firmly and even then it sometimes just doesn't work.
Since there have been a half-dozen complaints about this signal over the last 5+ years, I request that the button be removed entirely and instead have the pedestrian walk signal turn on every time the corresponding traffic light turns green. I would guess that more pedestrians use this crossing daily than there are cars driving through it and the long wait time just incentivizes pedestrians to cross regardless of the signal.

Crosswalk signal not functioning properlyAcknowledgedDelaware And Raritan Canal Towpath & Harrison St S Princeton, NJ, 08540, USA - PrincetonCrosswalk lights on the canal hiking path across Harrison St aren't working, AGAIN. And as a pedestrian you think they're working (the sensor still beeps, and you can't normally see the lights anyway) and walk out on the road, which is pretty dangerous. The lights stop working several times a year in this crosswalk - any chance of a more permanent fix?

Crosswalk signal not functioning properlyAcknowledged1-15 Witherspoon St Princeton, NJ, 08542, USA - PrincetonThe crosswalk signal on Witherspoon and Nassau was not functioning for the second time this week. I'm sure construction is impacting this, which is understandable, but it creates a real risk for pedestrians. A student was almost hit right in front of me while crossing against the light because there was no signal. If the traffic facing signal was malfunctioning you can be sure it would be a priority to fix, the same should be true for pedestrian safety.

OtherAcknowledgedChamber St Princeton 08542, United States - PrincetonThis beg button is in no way ADA complaint. Rolling up that narrow little strip to access your right to cross the street is insane. I’ve been stranded on this island with my son in the bikeseat — no way for me to get up there to push the button. Horrible/scary position to be in.
