Stamford PLUS

The street light at the corner of Morgan St and Hoyt St has been out for months. This street light illuminates a crosswalk that is used by many pedestrians who live in nearby apartment buildings, to get downtown. It is a serious safety issue that should be fixed quickly, given the number of pedestrians who are getting hit by cars in Stamford recently.

There is an issue on High Ridge and Vine Street. The traffic light going northbound on High Ridge and Vine Street does not stay green long enough to allow a sufficient amount of cars to pass through, thereby, the traffic backs up for almost 1 mile in the evenings.

As you drive on Elm street and approach I-95, entering the cove, there are 3 lanes. The middle lane and the left lane are left turn only lanes according to a small sign posted, however there are 4 traffic lights, 2 lanes for left turn and 2 for going straight. This is causing multiple near miss accidents daily as cars in the middle lane which are supposed to only turn left only, go straight. Please remove one of the traffic lights, install larger signs, and paint the street with appropriate directional signs. This is long overdue.

Three street lights on the south side of North Street across from the Dairy Queen are out (in front of the Sumnore), causing the sidewalk to be unnecessarily dark with low visibility at night

HI City Point Neighbors,
Is anyone aware of the progress being made on improving the City Point Beach? The last I heard Warren Seacord was holding up the project. Is this alright with everyone? I've tried contacting the city engineer in charge but he hadn't responded.

Large potholes and cracks existing on Westover Rd. All the way from corner of Palmer Hill Road to Riverbank Road. Dangerous. Plus vehicle wheel damage.

There are 3 street lights that are out - making this a very dark intersection. The lights needs to be replaced. Thank you!
