Public Space: Trees, Grass, Debris ProblemAcknowledgedChamblee Dunwoody Rd Dunwoody, GA, 30319, USA - BrookhavenThis poor man needs help. Someone has parked a shopping cart stolen from Kroger next to him. Probably trying to frame him for theft. I bet the same person scattered all this trash around trying to frame him for littering. Can the City of Dunwoody show him how compassionate we are and help him to a safe place?

Unfortunately, the landscaping along the sidewalks installed as part of the Dunwoody Gateway Project (along Chamblee Dunwoody Rd. from I-285 to Shallowford Rd.) is full of weeds. This project was meant to beautify our city but has become an eyesore and blight on our city. Per the City of Dunwoody's own website, "The Chamblee Dunwoody Georgetown Gateway Project creates a more welcoming environment for pedestrians and bicycles, and serves as a signature gateway for one of the primary entrances into Dunwoody. The project extended the Dunwoody Trailway in both directions along Chamblee Dunwoody Road from Georgetown Park and created a consistent streetscape to enhance the visual appeal ... This segment of Chamblee Dunwoody Road is an important corridor for thousands of Dunwoody residents and provides access to over 13,000 vehicles travel each day."
I reported this same issue last year and feel maintenance of this area has been ignored. Regular maintenance of this area needs to be scheduled as part of our master plan. What is the long term plan to keep this streetscape from becoming a weed filled eyesore? Can someone come out on a monthly basis to pick up trach and to weed the landscaped areas? Should we plant grass instead if we can't control the weeds? Weeds would still grow but at least they could be mowed.
Thank you for you attention to this issue.

Public Space: Trees, Grass, Debris ProblemAcknowledged4941 Vermack Rd Atlanta, Georgia, 30338 - Dunwoody
Dear City of Dunwoody Code Enforcement,
I would like to file a complaint regarding a property located at 4941 Vermack Rd. There are four trees on this property that appear to be dead. During the most recent storm, large branches from one of the trees broke off and fell. Thankfully, no one was hurt this time, but the situation presents a significant safety risk.
These dead and unstable trees pose a danger not only to the property owners themselves but also to nearby neighbors and pedestrians who regularly use the Vermack Road sidewalk. Falling branches or an entire tree collapse could cause serious injury or damage to property.
Given the location and the level of risk, I respectfully request that the City of Dunwoody investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure the safety of the community.
Thank you for your attention to this urgent safety issue.
