City of Dunwoody PLUS

This sign got taken down at least three weeks ago, and since it is a common occurrence, I thought it would have been taken care of by now. It was run over by a driver, turning left from Andover, who realized they were turning in front of traffic and ran over the sign in an attempt to get out of the way.

Signal is stuck at 10 seconds on the timer. As demonstrated an image of the walk sign is also there and working normally.

Traffic signals as you go south on Chamblee Dunwoody Rd are not aligned with the lanes. Which makes it confusing. They need to bemove further left as you are facing south to align with the lanes.

Left turn from the apartment complex should not be allowed. I have dash cam video to show you the problem in more detail. Dunwoody police case # 18001872.

Timings are off. Red light on Peeler Rd remained red for much longer than normal.

Please check timing.

This area is becoming extremely dangerous as parents are using the West Side of Parliament Dr. as a drop off point for students walking to Dunwoody High. DHS classes naturally start early morning when visibility suffers. Furthermore, the Parliament Dr / Vermack intersection is congested at this time further decreasing visibility especially for cars traversing Vermack east to west using Parliament Dr. Parents are dropping off there kids in the middle of the road and a driver trying to clear the intersection can easily find himself suddenly staring at an open driver side passenger door, or a student staring at his phone in the middle of the road while meandering towards DHS. Request #8427 decries the same intersection and is appropriate as well. I am adding this because #8427 does not mention the children being dropped off in the middle of the street because parents find it a convenient drop off point. (Parliament/Vermack avoids the dreaded Womack/Vermack intersection)

A pedestrian was hit recently while crossing N Peachtree at the entrance to Brook Run Park. I would strongly suggest adding a crosswalk at this location.

Light signal is not working, very dangerous to cross

I cant reply to a comment under 20263278 but the flashing school zone lights are out in the morning [unconfirmed for the afternoon]

Can the sign/lights be replaced if it continues to be an issue?

**** Previously reported under 20107112 - was fixed and working but out again "We found that one of the bulbs on the flashers was failing intermittently; a work order has been created for this repair" ****

Stop Bars missing on pavement. Paint stop bars on all three sides of this three-way intersection and trim back vegetation from 25 mile an hour speed limit sign which is not visible.

There is a painted crosswalk on the street here an many students and families use this to cross Vermack. Many times cars do not obey/respect the crosswalk and many near-misses have occurred. Could a flashing pedestrian crossing sign be placed here on Vermack? (like the one on Chamblee-Dunwoody at Georgetown Park) Again, so many families and students use this walking to school.
