  • 3550–3564 Rogers Rd Wake Forest NC 27587, United States - Wake Forest
Need to address this location as many do not obey directional lanes during school dismissal Major accident is going to happen here if this is not addressed I would recommend that traffic control observe this location from 230-345pm Monday through Friday and see how to better handle all traffic
  • 229–239 Forbes Rd Wake Forest NC 27587, United States - Wake Forest
We're experiencing significant speeders again. The initial patrol proved fruitful in catching speeders and people running stop signs. Can we please have some officers post up on Gracechurch and Forbes.
  • 1753-2999 Heritage Center Dr Wake Forest, NC, 27587, USA - Wake Forest
Traffic leaving either the Dunkin or Starbucks side of the road are often at odds with each other and racing the perpendicular traffic which does not have a stop sign. Same for leaving the street by the medical center complex next to the baseball fields. Can a timed traffic light be installed? Traffic circle? There have been multiple MVC's in this area over the years.
  • S Franklin St Wake Forest, NC, 27587, USA - Wake County
Cars are racing around the corner towards the crosswalk. Please consider placing speed bumps in this RESIDENTIAL area as people are using Franklin street as a cut through. Children walk to the bus stop here and use the crosswalk to get to the playground. There will be a horrible accident if the safety complaints of the children continue to be ignored.
  • 400 Holding Lake Court Zebulon, NC, 27587, USA - Wake County
    N. Franklin St and S. Franklin St have multiple cars a day go the wrong way due to poor signage. Every side street and parking lot entrance to these streets needs a One Way sign asap. No turn signals are ignored. Yesterday alone I counted 7 cars go the wrong way (including a USPS truck).
  • Stone Monument Dr & Ligon Mill Rd Wake Forest, North Carolina, 27587 - Wake Forest

*Entering Stone Monument from Ligon Mill is unsafe.
Traveling south on Ligon Mill (toward 1A) traffic is reduced from 2 lanes to 1 lane just at the point where a left turn is required for entry to the complex. There is much confusion among drivers as to where this left turn should be made from (the lane which has ended so that through-traffic flow is not slowed, or from the remaining lane). This makes it difficult to anticipate the actions of other drivers.

*Exiting Stone Monument Dr. onto Ligon Mill Rd is unsafe.
Curve of Ligon Mill Rd. (to the south of Stone Monument Dr) does not allow for clear sight from Stone Monument Dr. of oncoming traffic. This is exacerbated by overgrown weeds/shrubs on the roadside as well as excessive speed of traffic traveling north.

  • S Franklin St Wake Forest, NC, 27587, USA - Wake County
    - Constant speeding through the area, no enforcement by WFPD.
    - Watched a mom, toddler, and stroller nearly run down by a car while she was in the crosswalk. Car never slowed down.
    - Wake Forest Public Utility truck driving so fast, yanks the wheel while crossing into my lane passing me.
    - Am passed by vehicles as if I am standing still, again, no enforcement noted ever.
    - WFPD and WKSO both reside in the apartments so they see this too.
    - Radar speed signs are at a poor angle and do not catch cars at every pass or in either lane.
    - This area is UNSAFE!
  • 440 Stone Monument Drive Wake Forest, North Carolina, 27587 - Wake Forest

The posted speed limit is 25 mph on Stone Monument Dr, but the majority of travelers pick up speed traveling west out of the adjoining neighborhood and down hill, as well as accelerating to get up the hill when traveling east from Ligon Mill Rd. Residents (and their children, pets) of the apartment complex need safe access across this street as they walk, carry trash to the dumpster, cross to the clubhouse/mailboxes/pool. In the adjoining neighborhood cars are parked along the curbs which helps to slow traffic along those stretches. Once drivers hit the wide-open spaces of the apartment complex their throttles are wide open as well. Please consider adding traffic calming mechanisms such as chicanes or chokers, a stop sign, or at a minimum, Pedestrian Crossing signs at the 2 crosswalks to remind speeding drivers that they are in a residential area. As you might imagine this is worst during high traffic times morning and evening but does occur throughout the day.

Another day, another speedway around HV and Franklin Street both directions. Continued inaction by the city. Just reassigning the all submitted problems from one person to the next. No actual changes, updates, or enforcement. Plenty of concerns raised by residents now of safety issues in the area. Any continued inaction is intentional.
  • 1023-1099 Traditions Ridge Dr Wake Forest, NC, 27587, USA - Wake County
Crosswalk needed across Royall Mill from Treetop Meadow Lane over to Traditions Ridge. It is difficult to see cars coming up Royall Mill (west) in time to safely cross to Traditions Ridge. Thank you.
  • 11432-11460 Royall Cotton Rd Wake Forest, NC, 27587, USA - Wake Forest

Royall Cotton Rd Street/lane markings are worn/faded out in front of Sam's Club and the restaurants to the point they are ineffective in many places.

    Thank you

  • W South Ave Wake Forest NC 27587, United States - Wake Forest
