Roosevelt Island PLUS

Loose gravel in the bike lanes on the Roosevelt Island Bridge are dangerous for bicyclists. To avoid the loose gravel, bicyclists are forced to ride in lanes used by cars.

This issue has been reported many tines and is DANGEROUS and has nit been fixed.

ONLY a weekly sweep of gravel will fix the problem. Please schedule regular sweeps.

Dogs are constantly walking through the courtyard at all hours unnecessarily, despite the signage that clearly indicates that no dogs are permitted. Additionally, several even more inconsiderate dog owners use the courtyard as a dog run allowing their dogs to run off the leash. Reports to public safety are simply ignored. Why aren't the dog restrictions being enforced?

Cars fly thru this busy pedestrian crosswalk, it desperately needs a yield sign like some of the other crosswalks. The faded painted 'yield' on the street is not visible enough. Thank you!

There are rats all around the side (ramp) entrance to 575 due to the disgusting condition of the garbage dumpster.

There is a hole where a z-brick should be on the curbside near the Almagamated Bank. Other bricks near that area are raised and poses tripping hazards near the Con-ed vaults..

At the end of the exit ramp nearest the street, there is an area with raised bricks that caused me to fall. Since then, I have witnessed at least ten other falls. This should be fixed before someone is seriously hurt.

the tree between 546 and 540, just adjacent to 548 has a long branch about to fall. It has been torn since last winter and so far after many reports no one has come to cut it off
It's about to fall on top of RISA backyard, on top of the red stairs of 548 and on the cars of the contractors park there

There are numerous seawall railings and gratings that are in disrepair.

There is a concrete stanchion holding up the seawall railing split in half and dangerously hanging.

At 888 Main/Octagon Lane and Main Street east, at the tri-corner, no crosswalks exist. Also at approx. 900 Main Street at hospital driveways and dog walking plot, no crosswalks. Please see attached photos. thanks, Carson

THIS poorly installed OPEN LIVE ELECTRIC SYSTEM CONTINUES UP THE FENCE, THRU THE TREES, ACROSS THE STREET TO SEAWALL/STREAM CHAMBER IS A HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS, ESPECIALLY CHILDREN WHO PLAY IN AREA.
