PotholeAcknowledged1-55 Summit St Massachusetts - HoldenWhat is the status with replacing the damaged railroad crossing on Quinapoxet St. It's more dangerous now then it has ever been with the overwhelming traffic between the sand trucks and traffic to avoid the center of town something needs to be done.

PotholeAcknowledged1246 Main St Holden, Massachusetts - HoldenManhole cover is sinking and getting worse. Forces cars turning out of Lovell Rd onto Main Street to go around it or negotiate the large bumps it creates. This is a tough right-hand turn anyway (out of Lovell onto Main), since it is a 90 degree turn with no turning apron, due to the placement of a phone pole.

Sidewalk IssueOpen55 Sycamore Drive Holden, Massachusetts - Holdendeep frost heaves going to mailboxes. Very dangerous walking on sidewalk, very uneven and cracked.

Sidewalk IssueAcknowledged190 Shrewsbury Street Holden, Massachusetts - HoldenOn 2/15/16 a town plow got too close to the sidewalk by my house and struck my mailbox. This is the second incident in the last month that a town plow damaged my mailbox during a snowstorm. The first incident completely destroyed my old mailbox, knocked it off its poll, and broke the base. I spent a lot of money to replace this current mailbox, which was supposed to withstand attacks and blunt trauma onto it (except from a plow). Much paint has been scraped off from the side that the mailbox got damaged and I cannot even open the box well. This mailbox is made of a heavy steel frame and I cannot re-bend the dented section despite using heavy duty pliers. The mailbox alone cost me over $80 and it did not last 2 weeks. It is unlikely the Post Office will deliver my mail (especially bills, etc.) as the door is very difficult to open. In addition, due to the damage the mailbox withstood allowed rain and snow to enter the box and completely soaked my mail inside. I request the town to pay for both of my destroyed mailboxes. I also ask that the town to either install a new mailbox into the sidewalk or assist me in getting approval through the Post Office to relocate the mailbox by my house.
Please contact me or my wife to follow-up with the above.
