Our frequent drainage issue is severe today with heavy rains At noon, the entire road between 14 and 15 is flooded onto the sidewalks now and we have a few hours to go with heavy rain I recommend putting warning for cars not todrive down/cut through the street
I imagine even after the rain stops it will take a while to drain

In the winter time it ices over and causes extremely slippery conditions. This is it ongoing issue that has occurred for years. -

11 Century Street Medford, Massachusetts, 02155 - MedfordThe property’s sump pump is dumping water all over the sidewalk. At this temperature it’s it’s becoming ice. The sump pump should not be draining there. Short term, the owners should be salting or putting out traffic cones or something. I took a spill walking my dogs this morning. I don’t think I’m injured but I’m pretty upset about it. -

As a result, anaerobic bacterial overgrowth creates a public health risk to any person that walks by, particularly children or pets. A drain must be installed ASAP, or alternatively filled with concrete. -

It can't drain a large volume of water during heavy rains.Most recently, during the storm on 6/14/2024, the whole street was flooded, water went over the sidewalks and into the 179 Park St parking lot. Concerned residents called 911 fearing flooding in the basement.
