    Traffic light northbound on Boston ave: sensor is not triggered by bicycles and the light is not automatic. If I get a red and there are no cars with me at the intersection it won’t give me a green and I have to run a red light to get through. Please fix!

    Traffic light used to operate by request via pavement sensor, has been defaulting to a timed mode.

    The button to activate the flashing lights at the crosswalk is broken. Now traffic on Salem Street definitely doesn’t stop for pedestrians.

    The crosswalk signal at the intersection of Harvard Street and Boston Ave on the corner with the Tufts building is currently non-functional. Even if you hit the button the signal does not activate, and I have had to wait through multiple cycles of the traffic lights before someone on one of the other corners was able to trigger the signal, or give up and jaywalk through the intersection.

    One of the pedestrian signal at this intersection (which is very busy for pedestrians) is out--neither the walk sign nor the stop sign light up at any point during the cycle. The one that's on Boston Ave, nearest the T station, and facing the hill of Tufts on the other side is the one that doesn't light up.

    The first traffic light heading south from Commercial St. Malden to Riverside Dr. Medford always actiates the left turn arrow when it changes and no traffic is in that lane request a left turn. That should only activate when a vehicle needs to turn left. Causes longer delays for the trafic in the northbound direction and only adds to drivers frustation and trying to make two lanes of trafiic where it should be one. In addition the time interval is way to long. Please address this ASAP its been like this since roadwork was done several tears ago.
    My response from Mass DOT :
    It appears this location is under local jurisdiction. I do not see that MASS DOT controls traffic lights in this area.

    Intersection of Main Street and George Street continues to be very unsafe for pedestrians to cross, especially late at night. There are now three bus routes and three bus stops at this intersection and detoured traffic making it very unsafe. Something needs to be done to make it safer for pedestrians. The flashing red and orange lights are useless and only assist cars, not pedestrians.

    Note - Officer Brooks just closed a similar issue without any response or follow-up.

    The crosswalk at the intersection of Main St. and Hancock Ave is completely faded, making drivers unaware they are supposed to stop for pedestrians here.
