Recent water main replacement in the last 3 months by Tufts Construction, shut off not raised to curb level and sinking as well as gas main sinking and crumbling. Why can’t Medford hold these contractors more responsible for their shoddy work, non ADA compliant and trip hazard. This is why Residents are so frustrated with our crumbling sidewalks even when they are resurfaced.

The sidewalk area here is in need of replacement. The town was recently out and stopped just short of this pad area, and this should have been handled at that same time to avoid a return trip.

Large tree roots have been lifting the sidewalk and ultimately cracking the foundation of the house. This is a home daycare as well and poses a serious safety risk for children and families especially during daily pick-ups/drop-offs. Large, rotten tree branches have also fallen from the tree.
