They fixed the walk by my back door and told me they would come back for sidewalk by driveway and never did. 16 Auburn St Somerville, MA 02144, USA - MedfordDespite the guardrails being repaired, the sidewalk has broken glass, pieces of metal and plastic from car crashes, and substantial amounts of related debris strewn across it. It is dangerous to walk a dog on the sidewalk here as there is significant risk of cuts to their paws, and it interferes with stroller and assistive device (wheelchairs, walkers, etc). Really unacceptable that this sidewalk is never properly cleaned or restored when the guardrail is replaced.

29-43 Pembroke St Medford, MA, 02155, USA - MedfordHello good evening, I live at 35 Pembroke St and it’s recently come to our attention that an entire family of rats are living under the sidewalk, our front garden bed and under our porch. The rats have completely destroyed our trash bins, our garden bed and are now putting holes into the foundation of our home. We’ve contacted waste management and have two new barrels coming on Thursday to try and stop them from eating food in our trash bins. They are primarily living under the sidewalk that has been lifted up due to weather conditions and we would like for the city to come and replace this section of sidewalk immediately. It also poses a safety issue as I have tripped over the sidewalk multiple times due to be being pushed up -
Mystic Valley Pkwy Medford, MA, 02155, USA - MedfordThis guardrail was repaired sometime at the end of December. Since then it has been smashed into at least four separate times (It may well be more than four; I don't go that way every day, but I have photos showing four different amounts of damage taken between Dec 30 and Feb 4).
Since it apparently only takes a month or two for cars to smash it up until it starts blocking the sidewalk, this intersection clearly needs urgent intervention beyond just fixing the guardrail again. Reflective chevron signs would be a start, since people seem to miss this curve so often.
