The updates to Carr Park are great, but we seem to have a drainage or overwatering issue.

Water seems to be overflowing from a ground cap in the street. Been going on since yesterday. Please address ASAP

Storm drain at the corner of Prescott & Mystic is completely blocked. It is filled with soil and debris and is no longer draining.

The street drain at 179 Park St is too small, and it's the only one on the block.
It can't drain a large volume of water during heavy rains.

Most recently, during the storm on 6/14/2024, the whole street was flooded, water went over the sidewalks and into the 179 Park St parking lot. Concerned residents called 911 fearing flooding in the basement.

water leak coming off Tufts U @ East Capen Street is draining onto Winthrop. The storm drain there is not properly positioned and all of the water is running around it and down Winthrop. The drain @ Winthrop and Emory is totally clogged and the water is running past it down to Boston Avenue where is is freezing and causing a danger to pedestrians and drivers.

This corner always floods during the rainy season. Today it was particularly full of water. When there are no left turners, it's avoidable, but if the intersection is full, cars must slow to safely cross. The ground is not visible under the water and so poses a hazard.

Drain not clearing No noticeable debris in the way..

Storm drain not draining. Grate is not covered by leaves or any other debris so the blockage must be inside the storm drain. This has been happening with every rainstorm for a while. It will eventually drain once the rain stops so there is some slow water flow happening

19 Brackett Street and 13 Brackett Street Medford both have sub pumps that leak into the street and leak on the sidewalk and cause icy conditions and also draim hazardous water into the sewer system.

Fire hydrant is leaking quite a bit.
