249 Fulton St Medford MA 02155, United States - MedfordPlease fill this sinking patch of asphalt between 249 and 252 Fulton St It's getting deeper and large vehicles, especially anything with a trailer, make such loud crashing noises going over it This seems to be from some previous utility work from years ago that has become worse
-
228-234 Winthrop St Medford, MA, 02155, USA - MedfordThe sidewalk paving that was done this week is not up to snuff. They left a big depression that makes a 10' puddle. This is worse than before they paved it. We should not pay for work that is inadequate. Please make the company that did the work come back and do it properly.

82 Mystic St Medford, Massachusetts, 02155 - MedfordOn Thursday December 4-5th Commonwealth Construction and Utilities of Watertown were replacing a water line at 81 Mystic St. During this work they cracked the sidewalk and the curb in front of 82 Mystic St. They also left huge holes in the berm between the curb and the side walk at 82 Mystic St. This is the same company that struck a gas line while doing this work. There doesn't seem to be a permit for this work either. Please fix sidewalk, curb, and berm. Please charge Commonwealth Construction.

George St Medford, Massachusetts, 02155 - MedfordThe section of George Street from Gourley to Woodbine has several large areas of old patchwork that are sinking and full of deep, car damaging potholes. I hope the city has assessed this area. There are also sections of the road falling apart along the curbs in front of the old Dame School. It is a shame the city dod not extend the road replacement to include this section since it needs to be fixed yesterday. Please at least repair the sections that are ruining cars suspensions.

26 Florence St Medford, MA, 02155, USA - MedfordThe city did work on our street and it ruined the end of the driveway. Would like someone to come fill it in as they did other driveways on the street. Thank you

200 College Avenue Medford, Massachusetts, 02155 - MedfordThe stretch of road from in front of 200 College Avenue that meets the intersection with Boston Avenue is riddled with long and lengthy strips of missing asphalt. The city has been called about this section of road and there have also been postings here on see click fix. The road is chalked for new street and bike line paintings. These potholes need to be filled- hopefully before the city spends money setting down brand new lines on top of a road in disrepair.

I am writing to raise serious concerns about recent changes to the road layout on Main Street, near George Street, in Medford, MA. These changes present clear safety risks and appear to be having a negative impact on traffic flow.
In particular, the new sidewalk extension or island that juts into the road occupies approximately 30% of the driving lane. This sudden intrusion into the roadway creates a hazardous situation, especially for drivers who are unfamiliar with the area and may not expect such an obstacle. The risk is significantly heightened during snowstorms, when the structure could be obscured by snow and potentially cause severe vehicle damage or accidents.
Frankly, it is hard to understand how such a design was approved. What problem is this solving? From a driver’s perspective, it introduces a new danger rather than mitigating any existing ones.
Additionally, the recent narrowing of the Rte. 62 rotary to a single, tight lane has made traffic congestion noticeably worse. This bottleneck leads to slower movement, increased idling, and higher emissions—adding unnecessary pollution to the surrounding neighborhood without offering any apparent benefit.
I urge the city to reconsider these changes. Infrastructure modifications should improve safety and traffic flow, not complicate or endanger them.
Sincerely,
Boris Zografov
