246 High Street Medford, MA, 02155, USA - Medford
Most cars speed crazily in both directions. Despite the 2 yellow crosswalk signs, they don't stop (20 cars went by this morning before one stopped).
Last week, one car stopped and the one behind was driving so fast he swerved to the other lane, he was lucky there was nobody coming, it would have been a terrible accident. Maybe lights on the crosswalk signs and the repainting of the crosswalk will help. But the core of the problem is that the speed limit is not enforced. We had a police car for a few days before the pandemic but then vehicles went back to the "High street" speed.

42 Mccormack Ave Medford, MA 02155, USA - Medford
although 25 mph is the city wide speed limit, it is quite fast for McCormack Ave (between Winslow and Lila) we have slow signs but cars are still in a hurry to get to the dead end. There are 6 kids (all under 6) in this stretch who often play outside. I don't believe speed limit signs will work but perhaps speed bumps/tables would?

38 Doonan Street Medford, MA, 02155, USA - Medford
Cars are going faster and faster up and down Doonan Street. There is way too long of a stretch without a Stop sign from the Stop sign at Park Ave up to Doane Road. Can a Stop sign be placed on Doonan Street at the corner of Short Street in both directions?
  • Street Light IssuePotwierdzone
Boston Ave & High St Medford, MA, 02155, USA - Medford
Access to High St, especially when turning left is very dangerous from Sagamore, Boston and Grove. It is a difficult problem with so many streets intersecting with High St within a short distrance wihtout a traffic circle or any signals.

Timing on crossing light needs to be extended. Senior who lives nearby says that 10 seconds is not enough.

Cross walk needs lights — kids often cross
  • 5–65 Newport Ave Medford MA 02155, United States - Medford
National Grid came out and said it was a city issue.
Home was foreclosed and has been vacant for quite some time. This is the only street light on this dark street so it is a safety issue can it please be revisited. Thank you.

    Light pole 2280
Only light on street being blocked by tree overgrowth. Report to national grid 3 weeks ago to no avail. Thank you

62 Winchester St Medford MA 02155, United States - Medford
I live on Granville Ave and it is almost impossible to safely turn left or right onto Winchester St. Cars drive way too fast and it is very hard to see them coming in either direction because of parked cars and the road curve. Street mirrors might help, but won't do much if people are going too fast. We really need speed bumps and 4-way stops along Winchester.

54-64 Fountain St Medford, MA, 02155, USA - Medford
When approaching Fountain Street from the I-93N spoke of the Salem Street Circle, Fountain's street signs are very misleading. At this sharp right-hand turn, there is a one-way sign and a Do Not Enter sign, but no sign for Fountain. The signs make it look like Fountain is a one-way street. Unless you are "in the know," you won't know that this is an entrance to Fountain Street, and Fountain is two-way. When taking this turn, drivers behind us will often almost slam into us, as it isn't clear to them that this is a place we might actually turn (legally). Please, add a sign about the option to take this sharp turn. It will make it easier for friends and delivery people to navigate, and it will make it less likely that we'll get rear-ended when turning. Thank you!
