TW assessed 5/12: Tree hasn't been pruned, looks weak, in further decline. Prune if possible to save, or remove
  • 23 Cushing Street Medford, MA, 02155, USA - Medford
Very, very large tree ( right next to fire hydrant) on the corner of Abbott Street and Cushing Street is long overdue for trimming. We've made this request a few times over the past few months. Every wind and rain storm brings down branches that have the potential to cause damage. The tree is not dead or diseased. It just needs a serious trimming !
  • Bussell Rd Medford, MA, 02155, USA - Medford
There are no leaves on this tree. It is leaning over Bussell Rd towards the railroad tracks. It is near the corner of Roberts Rd. Requesting address is corner of Roberts Rd, 128 Roberts Rd. Please leave the stump.

Tree in front of our house on the sidewalk looks like it’s dying. Canopy is much more sparse than in years past, the leaves are turning red as if it was fall, and leaves are falling as well. The city came and repaired the uplifted sidewalk a few years ago and cut a major root, so I’m not sure if that’s what caused it. Concerned it’s going to start losing limbs and my kids play out front all the time.
  • 17 Wildwood Road Medford, Massachusetts, 02155 - Medford
Dead tree previously reported has big limbs down near street
  • 69 Brookings St Medford MA 02155, United States - Medford
This is now the 4th time I've seen parts of this tree fall on someone's car. A few years ago it damaged one of my cars and the police officer on scene told me it was scheduled for removal. Yet the tree still remains.
  • 67 Hume Ave Medford, MA 02155, USA - Medford

This tree in front of 67 Home lost a lot of mostly small branches, and one fairly large one (see pic) in the storm this week.

I wonder if it needs a health assessment?

  • 75-119 Governors Ave Medford, MA, 02155, USA - Medford
This tree has lost 3-4 large limbs in storms over the last ~8 months or so. Its remaining canopy is about 1/3 of what it was a year ago, and the remaining part leans toward the house.
Additionally, it appears to have rust fungus.
We don't want to end up with an ugly stump and nothing else on the sidewalk here, we love having a tree! But we don't want it to land on the house either.
Hopefully it can either be pruned so it is less likely to fall, or replaced with a new tree instead of just leaving a stump indefinitely. Thanks.
