  • 574-578 Boston Ave Medford, MA, 02155, USA - Medford
The crosswalk signal at the intersection of Harvard Street and Boston Ave on the corner with the Tufts building is currently non-functional. Even if you hit the button the signal does not activate, and I have had to wait through multiple cycles of the traffic lights before someone on one of the other corners was able to trigger the signal, or give up and jaywalk through the intersection.
  • 100-132 River'S Edge Dr Medford, MA, 02155, USA - Medford
The first traffic light heading south from Commercial St. Malden to Riverside Dr. Medford always actiates the left turn arrow when it changes and no traffic is in that lane request a left turn. That should only activate when a vehicle needs to turn left. Causes longer delays for the trafic in the northbound direction and only adds to drivers frustation and trying to make two lanes of trafiic where it should be one. In addition the time interval is way to long. Please address this ASAP its been like this since roadwork was done several tears ago.
My response from Mass DOT :
It appears this location is under local jurisdiction. I do not see that MASS DOT controls traffic lights in this area.

  • 201 Main St Medford, MA, 02155, USA - Medford

Intersection of Main Street and George Street continues to be very unsafe for pedestrians to cross, especially late at night. There are now three bus routes and three bus stops at this intersection and detoured traffic making it very unsafe. Something needs to be done to make it safer for pedestrians. The flashing red and orange lights are useless and only assist cars, not pedestrians.

Note - Officer Brooks just closed a similar issue without any response or follow-up.

  • Main St @ Hancock Ave Medford, MA 02155, USA - Medford
The crosswalk at the intersection of Main St. and Hancock Ave is completely faded, making drivers unaware they are supposed to stop for pedestrians here.
  • Canal St & Prescott St Medford, MA, 02155, USA - Medford
There was a crosswalk at Canal and Prescott, after the road was repaved the cross walk was never repainted.
  • Highland Ave & Rita Dr Medford, MA, 02155, USA - Malden Ward 3
There is no crosswalkcsign and the crosswalk stripes are barely visible. Cars often go past the speed limit here and crossing is very dangerous for pedestrians.
  • 464-482 Riverside Ave Medford, MA, 02155, USA - Medford
Is this section of Riverside Ave, leading to and from the Fellsway, a two or four lane road. Many drivers treat this section of road as though it has four lanes - two in each direction. But it is not marked as such. Is this section of road one lane or two lanes in each direction?
  • 150 River'S Edge Dr Medford MA 02155, United States - Medford

  • 8 9th St Medford, MA 02155, USA - Medford
9th st desperately needs "DO NOT ENTER" signs [except for residents] on BOTH ENDS - one on intersection with Brainard ave, the other one where the white fence is behind Kappy's liquor store. All deliveries and commercial activity will remain accessible via Brainard ave, Rt 16, Middlesex ave and short part of 9th st without allowing non-residents on most of 9th st which IS A PRIVATE STREET BY THE CITY OF MEDFORD
