    I am writing to follow up on the tree planting request for the sidewalk in front of our home at 38 Jackson Road. The stump in front of our property was removed in September 2023, and since that time we've made several inquiries with the tree warden, but to no avail.

    We’d be very grateful for any information you can share regarding the planting timeline, and we truly appreciate the work your team does to maintain and grow Medford’s urban forest.

    We've tried to contact the Medford Forestry department multiple times but never heard back.

    Our sidewalk tree was removed in 2021 during the sidewalk repaving. We’re more than happy to hire a professional and cover the cost ourselves to plant a new tree—we just don’t want to wait any longer. Can we get permission to proceed with planting it?

    Four bradford pear trees in the median on governor's ave were recently damaged in a storm and removed by the city. Several years ago most all the trees along this section of governor's in the sidewalk median were removed. These trees have never been replaced. Given that the median trees just removed were not near any power lines, I hope that there are plans to replace them ASAP.

    Additionally, the visual effect of large medians with trees is to support BIG trees. So many median trees in Medford along the lower part of Governors and Playstead are small ornamental trees that really do not lend themselves to a median. Please plant some maples or oaks!

    Today, some organization came in and cut down the two trees growing in the easement in front of my house. I had no advance warning or chance to oppose. Those were two growing trees that had been there over 15 years!

    I'm unhappy and want two trees planted there .o

    No need for plant there. It will grow and will just have to be cut again. Homeowner recommended to plant trees/plants on their own private property, not request public funds to plant trees like its a wildlife reservation and not the city of medford.
