    Still waiting It's been 2 years since reports were first made with the destruction caused by the company hired to pour sidewalks They destroyed the retaining wall and didn't repair it and they've caused a very dangerous situation as it was not level Water collects and freezes during winter months This needs to be fixed Huge puddles when it rains This was not an improvement paid for by tax payers

    The street drain at 179 Park St is too small, and it's the only one on the block.
    It can't drain a large volume of water during heavy rains.

    Most recently, during the storm on 6/14/2024, the whole street was flooded, water went over the sidewalks and into the 179 Park St parking lot. Concerned residents called 911 fearing flooding in the basement.

    I live near Bob's Food Store, and there are many problems for the neighbors who live close to the store. This is the problem I need help with: The store has a trash area that opens with a (?) metal/steel door that rolls up and down. Over time, the sound associated with opening and closing this door has gotten worse and worse. The door is opened numerous times a day and creates such a horrible sound that I, and other neighbors, are subject to over and over again, every day, all day. I actually addressed this issue on "See Click Fix". I believed it was assigned to Code Enforcement Officer Mike, whose solution was: the store owner was informed. Honestly, I know the store owner and being "informed" doesn't make one bit of difference to him. Please, I am asking for help once again to solve this problem. This is noise in the worse sense of the word that is truly disturbing the peace of the neighborhood.

    Found a metal wire in fried food from here. Looks like a metal grill brush bristle or worn down piece from a fry basket. Please have inspectors look at if frying and grill cleaning equipment is up to standard.

    Please consider installing a public use trash can near this railroad crossing. I have just spent an hour collecting trash from this area and have done so several times in the past. A lot of plastic waste is dropped in this area by people walking along Canal St from the stores on High St, and can very easily wash into the Mystic River from here.
