Top of tree broken in storm. Other various branches on the ground

A month ago a huge 10 ft limb snapped off the crown of the town tree and is just teetering within the other branches. We have numerous kids in the neighborhood and I do t want the branch to fall on one of them. I've call the DPW already and nothing has happened yet.

These limbs fell off this tree. It looks like it may have been hit by a van/truck, as it extends a bit over the street.

Massive top half of city tree (yes, it belongs to the city because it is on an easement the city owns in our backyard) has fallen off into our neighbor's backyard (and the other half of the tree doesn't look healthy either - we were told by Mrs Tuden about 2 years back that someone would come and assess it/remove the dead parts at some point but that never happened). If the second part falls (which seems more likely now) it is quite likely to do actual damage to the neighbor's house and shed.
