    Ashland Place has a sheet of ice that needs attention. The road was not salted prior to either the 2/23 or 2/25 snows. Plows made a single pass after each snow, clearing only half the street. As a result, there is a slick layer of ice that is dangerous for pedestrians and cars. Many senior citizens live on this block and I am concerned for their safety.

    Good morning- as a resident using the marked crosswalk at Salem St and Hadley St intersection, it would be great to have a walk signal placed there- my daily use of the crosswalk reminds me that crossing in a legal crosswalk should not be a life and death decision. Do the drivers of the cars coming at high speeds from 3 separate directions ALL SEE ME AND WILL THEY STOP OR KEEP DRIVING? My experience is that they don't care since I know their eyes are open and not continue to drive as if pedestrians are INVISIBLE? This section of road is NOT an extended highway on and off ramp. Someone is going to end up with severe injuries that the city needs to take steps to prevent.

    Wrong way traffic. Cars coming off the rotary in the wrong lane is a daily occurrence on Fountain street.

    Street not clearly marked as a two way and cars double up creating a dangerous situation at the intersection.

    Another accident on forest street last night. The neighborhood appreciates the solar powered 'your speed' signage but more is needed. Accidents are an annual occurrence. More traffic calming is needed. Maybe white line lane markings? It would help on snowy days to know where the lane is so that parked cars don't narrow the lanes too much. People typically blow through the 25mph speed limit on Forest and narrower lanes make this more dangerous.
