City of Medford PLUS

Two street trees, I believe London Plains, that have a whitish fuzzy must or mold visible on many of the leaves, in addition, many leaves are curled up and yellow.

Dead tree near telephone lines, sidewalk and street. Should be cut down before it falls

The bush on the corner is covering half of the sidewalk.
I can't fit my wheelchair through the gap between the bush and the pole without scraping against it.

Japanese knotweed now 4+ feet out into the roadway and it’s only June. Plus, the decaying debris from it is so thick that there are saplings taking root in the street.

This tree is continuously dropping dead branches. I've been reporting it for years. Something needs to be done.

The weeds around this street tree and in the adjacent property are blocking the sidewalk

This might be a slightly odd request, but would it be possible to leave this stump/tree remains as is, instead of taking it the rest of the way down?
My reasoning is that vertical elements like this do act as a traffic calming measure, and speed is a real problem here. We have just lost four tall trees, and it takes awhile before new trees will grow as tall as this. So for the time being, could you just leave it standing?
Maybe we could even put reflectors or a "caution - pedestrians" sign on it.

Thank you for taking care of the trees that had been dropping limbs; we are sad to see them go, but they were a safety hazard.

There are two dead trees along a path in the fells behind 16 Ronaele Rd. a large branch from one broke and hit the power lines on the way down. No damage was done, but these branches could possibly take out power lines or hit pedestrians on the trail below.
