15 Winthrop Pl Medford, MA, 02155, USA - Medford
Winthrop Pl cul de sac needs salting. Not sure why but salt trucks came down earlier and stopped then backed up back down the street instead of simply driving around the cul de sac which the city owns and maintains and leaving in the forward direction.
It seems that plow and salt drivers may not realize the cul de sac itself / circle is also city owned as the salt line stops here. It would have been much easier to just drive in a circle with the salt truck instead of stopping and backing up down the narrow Winthrop Pl all the way back to Clark.

1-19 Brogan Rd Medford, MA, 02155, USA - MedfordLarge snow bank getting in the way of the road, dangerous for traffic on an already very tight street that barely fits two way traffic without snow.
-
2-18 Harold Rd Medford, MA, 02155, USA - MedfordEvery. Single. Snowstorm no matter how much snow (2 inches or 2 feet) you can see how much better Somerville snow removal is (Somerville is the street you can see tar vs Medford is unplowed). They also don’t remove snow from the even side of the street which is ridiculous. Don’t call a snow emergency if you’re not going to plow properly.

36 Burget Ave Medford, MA, 02155, USA - MedfordCars parked on even side of Burget. Please take care of so the street can get appropriately cleared for the storm today
-
Mystic Valley Pkwy Medford, MA, 02155, USA - MedfordEnd of South St where it meets Main - more snow removal is needed. There is a traffic bottleneck there.
-
77-89 North St Medford, Massachusetts, 02155 - MedfordNorth Street was never properly cleared - barely two cars can pass. Sidewalks not clear require people to walk in middle of street on a truck route. Dangerous situation almost a week after snow and haven’t seen another plow all week.
-
2-98 Metcalf St Medford, Massachusetts, 02155 - MedfordMany parts of the city had snow removed after the last storm. Metcalf was hardly plowed. Additional accumulation yesterday hasn’t helped the situation. Didn’t hear/see one plow all day. Please give our street the same attention as the rest of South Medford!
-
30 Evans St Medford, MA, 02155, USA - MedfordThe snowbanks are extending out past the sidewalk by several feet. Even if a spot is cleared by an individual, someone else takes it, and no one is collectively helping. Half the spots are still gone.
-
321 Winthrop St Medford, MA, 02155, USA - MedfordIt’s been over a week and the American Legion has not shoveled their sidewalk. The sidewalk is impassable and pedestrians are walking into the street on Winthrop St, a busy street. This is a safety hazard. Photo included was taken today.
-
2-18 Martin St Medford, MA, 02155, USA - MedfordAlong Martin Street, snow banks approximately 3-5 feet high remain along the curb line and at driveway curb cuts, obstructing visibility and making entering and exiting driveways difficult and unsafe.
-
24-40 Holton St Medford, MA, 02155, USA - MedfordIcy streets this morning for dog walks. Would strongly suggest being proactive about salting roads.

174 Spring St Medford, Massachusetts, 02155 - Medford
The city has failed to remove snow from this area and instead has repeatedly piled it up directly in front of a small business. As a result, the business has effectively lost all nearby parking and customer access. However, the city has no problem towing and ticketing anyone who attempts to park close to a snow bank (which is 4-5 feet from the curb since the plows didn't clean to the curb, unlike Salem Street).
This is creating a serious hardship for the business and is not acceptable. The snow needs to be properly removed (not pushed into parking and access areas) as soon as possible.
Please send a plow/crew to remove the piled snow and restore access and parking immediately. It's like the city is actively working to kill a local business that has been there for YEARS.
